I put in my letter of resignation two days ago. It was time. My last day will be on my birthday, December 1st. That will give them plenty of time to hire someone. I dread having to train my replacement. Especially since this used to be two positions and there is just so much to remember. Hopefully we will find someone that takes notes and is super organized.
On or around December 1st, I’ll start my journey to Livingston, Texas. This is where one of the headquarters for the Escapees RV Club is located. I’ll set up mail forwarding with them before I get there. Once I’m there, I’ll get new insurance for Ms Pearl, get my Texas tags, and drivers license. After that I’ll stop by to visit T-Jay in Princeton. Once that is done my plan is to go where it is warm.

I found this canned beef online and ordered 9 cans of it.

This is perfect emergency food for me. I eat a pound of meat a day, so it’s the perfect size for me. It tastes great. I usually add some seasoning or a half bar of cream cheese to it.

I had my screening done and it is good. My arteries are in good shape. My CAC score is 142 out of 400, not too bad. I’m hoping to get close to zero in the next year or so. My doctor was happy for the results and no longer pushes statins.

I modified this bathroom shelf unit to fit over the cup holder in the rear of the van. It helps to keep things handy. I hate to have to dig for things that I need.

These window covers are good for where I’m parked at. I don’t have any people walking by that might get nosey. When I am near the public I always attach the curtain behind the front seats. It’s too bad that I can’t turn off the dash lights. We used to be able to do that. Now I can only dim them, which totally sucks. I’m still thinking about attaching a curtain right over the windshield that will block out everything. Maybe I’ll work on that tonight. When you start to modify a vehicle, you are never ever done. There are always little tweaks to try to make things better.
That’s all I got for now. I hope everyone has a good week.
