I meant to update this yesterday, but I started watching the “Silo” series and just couldn’t make myself stop.
We started with another Tornado Watch yesterday morning. It looks like the Houston area was hit, but not near me. We did get a ton of rain, but not much wind. By 1:30 in the afternoon, it was over, but for more rain.
I did have time to wash clothes before the weather went to shit. Due to my tiny wardrobe, I only had one load. $2.50 got all of it done, and I’m good for another week or two.
This was after the rains had finally stopped late yesterday afternoon.
This morning, after finishing my grueling housework, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, etc., I decided to remove the curtains in front of the door. I bought them to close in front of the door while it’s open. I’ll never use or close them because keeping the side door open while the van is not running will run down my house battery. I will keep the rod up to dry my bath towels or find some other use for it.
It’s been a gloomy day today. I don’t feel like doing much of anything. Maybe later this afternoon the sun will come out, and I’ll go for a walk. NBD’s
