We got about two inches of snow, which lasted two days and was all gone by then. My access to water was off early in the morning but defrosted by the middle of the day. We never lost electricity, which is what most people were worried about. Every day, it got warmer. Today, we should get up to 62 degrees, but it will be raining on and off all day.
Yesterday morning, Thomas texted me to let me know he had eggs available. I bought two dozen.
Today, I will have air-fried sardines, bacon, and eggs.
I washed both of my duvet covers yesterday and had to do some major wrangling to get them back on the down inserts. I ended up using a picnic table to spread them out. I hate washing those, but I wouldn’t give them up to use a blanket instead. They are so warm. Usually, I turn the heater on for a few minutes when I get up in the morning if it gets below freezing. No heater is needed during the night. It’s awesome!!!
This was last night after taking a nice hot shower.
I just found out that my paperwork will take about seven months to complete at Immigration. Wow!! I knew it would take a while, but really???? I’m glad my driver’s license is still good until 2027, so I have plenty of time.
