Beautiful sunset last night. For the last couple of days, there was no chance of rain during the night, so I slept with the sunroof open and the fan on. What a great night’s sleep!
T-Jay sent me a couple of pounds of coffee—my favorite, Italian Roast, from Sprouts. We don’t have one near here. It’s the best cup of coffee I’ve had since November!! Thanks, T-Jay!!!
One of the ladies at the park made pork sausage the other day and brought me some. Usually, I buy a dozen eggs extra and gift them to someone. She gave me the sausage as a trade.

I put some on top of the ribs I had cooked in the air fryer. They turned out delicious after all the seasonings soaked through into the ribs.
I gave some eggs to my neighbor behind me, and he gave me two pieces of deer. I can’t wait to cook it tomorrow.

One of my neighbors made me little gadget.
It is for my side door when it is open. Without it my house battery will eventually run down because the Sienna will let me know the door is open even when it is turned off.

As long as this thing is wedged in, my Sienna thinks the door is closed. Now, I can finally look for a mosquito screen to cover the door while it is open.

This is from last week when we had that storm.

This was about ten minutes before the storm hit. I attached the Roadie to the side door because it would let me open the window while it was raining. Even though we had a lot of hail, there were no damages that I could see the next day. I was really worried about the sunroof caving in, but worried for nothing.
I just returned from the office and paid for another month to stay here. My electric bill was only $15.35. The total for the month was $391.39. Ha, that beats a mortgage and utility bill at the townhouse. I hope it won’t get too hot by April 18th. I will look for another place to stay in the next 30 days, where it will be cooler. I just checked the immigration website, and it still says it will take 6 more months for my paperwork to be processed. I don’t want to hang around Texas to wait for it. I would have to run my van 24 hours a day to run the air conditioner I will probably swing by T-Jay’s for a few days before heading out.
Today is day 490 of eating only meat and meat products, and I’m feeling fantastic. I feel better now than I did in my twenties.
I think I will empty out the roof-top carrier sometime today. See what I will keep and what I can get rid of. The only thing I have gotten out of it is a large bowl and the Roadie. I have forgotten most of what is up there. Should be interesting.
Well, I’ve got to go clean the inside because I managed to spill an entire full cup of coffee a while ago. Wouldn’t want to attract new pets. Have a great day, everyone. NBDs
