Happy Thunder Thigh Thursday 4/17/25

Yes, it’s Thunder Thigh Thursday, but I had T-bone today. I was celebrating my last day here at Rainbow’s End.

I’m stocked up on meat, butter, and eggs for the next three days. In the morning, all I have to do is pack my bowl, small rug, hose, and steps, and I’ll be ready to leave.

I’m pretty excited to get to higher ground and cooler temperatures. I have mapped out my drive to Princeton without hitting any interstates. It surprised me that it only added about 15 to my drive. I hate to drive in cities!!

My next-door neighbor, Jimmy, left last Saturday. On this corner, we have all reserved our spaces for November 1st at the end of the year. Hopefully, it will have cooled down by then.

These two motion-sensored LED lights are clipped to my roof rack to recharge.  Of course, I forgot to take them down before leaving for Walmart.  I’m surprised they are still up there after the drive this morning.

I will miss my walks with Dan from down the street. He’s sticking around for the summer. We will take one last walk later this afternoon. He’s slowly converted to low carbs and left the junk sugar alone. I hope that he keeps it up!!

One of the ladies who works here has gone carnivore with her husband. I will keep in touch with her while I’m gone. Two other gentlemen are going to try it. Both are very overweight, and one has stage four prostate cancer. I hope to see fewer bellies when I come back!!

People keep asking me why my van doesn’t smell of food since I cook inside every day. It just dawned on me why that is. I only cook meat with a few powdered seasonings—no onions, garlic, or other vegetables. I’m sure that is why.

All my clothes and bedding have been washed, and Ms. Pearl was washed last Thursday. The fridge is full. I’m ready; I just need to top off my gas in the morning.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. NBD’s
