Here Comes The Sun, Monday 5/12/25

I knew it wasn’t going to last. On Wednesday, it will be 95 degrees. I might spend some time at the clubhouse with the air conditioner that day. At least it will still cool down in the evening.

It’s 11 AM, and I’m writing this with my door wide open. A lovely breeze is coming in. I usually turn the van on around 2 PM for the A/C and to recharge my EcoFlow generator.

I just went to the office to pick up a bag of ice for $1. That will keep me in ice water in my cup for the next 24 hours. I will also pick up a small Styrofoam cooler to make it last a couple of days. It’s weird that I was drinking everything without ice for 5 months without a problem. Then I got ice in my cup while at T-Jay’s and developed a full-blown ice cube habit again.

Since I’ve been here, T-Jay has stopped by several times. We enjoyed going to the store, washing his STI, and just talking. I’m going to miss that when I move further north.

How do you like that? A sign for No Bad Days LLC is right down the road. Of course, I had to look that up. 🙂 https://www.nobaddays.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=ABUS I might have to break down and buy a sticker for Ms Pearl.

I found this great hack to use in campground showers. Puppy pads. This way, I don’t have to worry about putting my bare feet on the floor when changing clothes. Also, it’s great for drying the floor after I finish.

That’s Terry smoothing out the road on a Sunday afternoon.

This is the pantry in the clubhouse.

There is even food in the fridge/freezer.

There is food for anyone if you need it.

The lake after a day of rain and hail. This was on my way back from Walmart. It was pouring down so badly that I fixed my food in the Walmart parking lot and waited it out.

This pipe, after the rain, sounded like a waterfall.

I think I will do my laundry today after lunch. I’m getting low in the underwear department.

I hope everyone has a great week and absolutely NBDs.
