Prince William County came through with the paperwork that I needed. I had missed the last page of my divorce decree, which had the name change. I couldn’t upload the papers to the immigration website and ended up using FedEx to get the documents to them. On the 15th, I found out that my certificate of citizenship had been issued.
I waited a few days to see if I would get a notice that it had been mailed out. When I didn’t, I contacted my home base in Livingston, who told me they had received it.
This past Sunday, I took the four-and-a-half-hour trip to Livingston. I spent the night at Rainbow’s End and picked up my mail yesterday morning. Now, all my paperwork has the same last name, and I will be able to get my Texas driver’s license in November when I return to Livingston.
Rainbow’s End is getting pretty empty. Most campers have moved to cooler spots. When I was here in March, it was still cool at night and early mornings. I never noticed that the bathroom/shower had no air conditioning. I sure noticed it this time!!! It was like an oven in there. The laundry room is not air-conditioned either. I was so happy to get back to Countryview last night and take a shower!!!

When I drove to my appointment at Toyota of Plano, they found a piece of metal in my right front tire. They plugged it for me, and everything is good now. My advisor gave me an email to send photos of the rear of the van, showing that it does not have any seats, to stop the recall from alerting me on my Toyota App. I haven’t heard anything back yet, and the alert remains. I might have to try that again. I will go to this dealership again when I’m in the area.
I will definitely be leaving on the 1st of July this time. I’ll be heading towards Creede, Colorado, to see what the weather is like there this time of year.

I bet I would get some great sleep over there and wouldn’t have to run my van so much to keep cool. I’m going to sit in the clubhouse for a while with my computer and my atlas to plan my route.
