I know it probably sounds gross, but this was lunch today: two cans of sardines drained, six eggs, and lots of bacon air-fried. It’s hard to believe, but it was delicious. I’m good to go for the next 24 hours.
Yesterday, I drove about four miles to pick up home-grown eggs. They were 5.00 a dozen.
I have bought eggs from many different people in the past. This is the first time I have seen this card attached, and I did not have to give the eggs the “float test.” In the past, I have always found one or two eggs that weren’t fit to be eaten. This is a nice change!!! I will be ordering more eggs next week. They taste so good!!!
I’m still learning new things about my Sienna and the Drone Mobile security system. Some weeks ago, I bought a walking stick to start the van from the back. I used the stick to press on the brake pedal and then the start button. I was all excited!!
Now I found out that I can use Drone Mobil to turn the van on while I’m inside. It will run for 25 minutes, long enough to check on the gas tank, alternator charger, and the state of my generator. This morning, I decided it would be a good idea to start the van from the inside when it cut off. Well, I found out that I had to unlock and lock the door using the key fob before starting it, or Drone Mobile might have thought I was stealing the van. At 7:30 this morning, all the alarms went off. I’ve been apologizing to my neighbors all day.
Unfortunately, AT&T was down for most of this morning. I’m so glad I can use an unlimited hotspot from my phone. It’s always great to have other options when something doesn’t work.
It’s been raining off and on all day. I did go out to donate a few items that I’ve been driving around with that I thought I would use, but ended up not needing.
Tomorrow, Chapter 10 Escapees will hold a membership drive and auction, with the proceeds going to CARE (Caring Affordable Respite Experience). http://escapeescare.org They were happy to accept my donation.
Then, the rain held up long enough to walk to check on my mail.
Right now, it’s pouring. I hope it will slow down enough for me to button up for the night without getting soaking wet. It’s still 36 degrees, so it’s not so bad. Meanwhile, Princeton, where T-Jay lives, is getting rain and snow at 32 degrees. What a difference 200 miles makes. I hope that he keeps safe.
That’s all for now. I better button up the van while the rain has slowed down. Keep warm and safe. NBDs.
