I was supposed to leave on the 29th. Two days before my checkout time, I decided to check on the Immigration website to see if there was an update. Well, there was. They are asking for more paperwork on my name change after my divorce. I contacted the clerk’s office in Prince William County and am now waiting on the papers that I hope will take care of this.
I was afraid to leave until I got the necessary papers. Hopefully, I will get what I need in the next few days.
Meanwhile, I will wait another month to resolve this. I was lucky to stay in the same spot after the manager rearranged the lot assignments for incoming campers for this month. There are only three empty lots in the park, and most of the residents have been here for many years.
I had to take care of my newly re-acquired ice cube habit. We used to be able to get free ice at gas stations, but now they want to charge between 50 and 75 cents each. They charge you for a fountain drink if you don’t pay attention and tell them it is just ice. Buying bags of ice each day didn’t work out, even though I bought a cheap Styrofoam ice chest. It never lasted for more than a day. So I bought the smallest ice maker I could find.

I have a pet peeve with the ever-shrinking bars of soap. I think I hit the jackpot with this giant 10-oz bar.
This is the only thing I use when I shower for body and hair. Give me a towel and a bar of soap, and I’m ready to go.
I like to keep my van door open for as long as possible in the morning before the heat sets in. I got tired of killing flies, especially when I’m cooking.
I got this yesterday, and it’s working perfectly. It attaches with magnets, so I don’t have to turn the van on while cooking.
I’m going to https://www.toyotaofplano.com/ tomorrow morning. My right front passenger tire keeps losing air. For a while, it just needed air once a week, but now it’s an everyday thing. I also want them to remove any beeps when I close the doors. While I’m there, they can also take care of the recall on the rear seats since I don’t have any.
