Day #640 95% Carnivore, Friday 8/15/25

68 and feeling great…..hey, that rhymes!!

No fruits, no vegetables, no grains, no seed oils, and no sugar.

Alpicool 12-volt, 33-quart car fridge.

The Iceco fridge that I had was only 21-quart. The Alpicool is taller, but only a few inches difference, and fits on the passenger seat just fine. The best thing about it is that it has separate fridge and freezer sections. I hated having to eat the meat in the fridge, even if I didn’t feel like it on that day. I couldn’t let the meat go to waste, and I couldn’t keep more than five days’ worth at a time.

Lunch time.

Yesterday, I didn’t feel like eating meat, so I cooked eggs, crawfish, butter, and seasoning. It was great not to have to worry about my meat going bad.

I’m still playing with the settings to get the temperatures just right. I’m also keeping my eye on the watts being used since I have it plugged into the EcoFlow generator. Since last night, I went from 88% to 56% just now. At lunch time, I will probably idle the Sienna for a while to recharge the EcoFlow.

Hanging Ear Coffee Filter Bag

I like my coffee strong, strong enough to slam my eyeballs open. Using the clips to adjust the filter to hang down more into the water, it can sit for a while until it gets strong enough for me. Much better!!

House cleaning.

I can never get away from housework, even in a van. Everything has to be in its place and put away after use, or the inside will get messy. I do like to keep my side door open when the weather is cool, so getting ahead of the dust is a never-ending chore. The upside is that it doesn’t take long at all.

After running my fan daily for a while, it got pretty ugly looking on the inside. Thanks to ChatGPT, I found out how to take the fan apart for cleaning.

Here she is looking brand new. So satisfying!!

Sticky Icky

Another thing that gets on my last nerve is the dirty, dusty keyboard of my laptop. Sticky Icky took care of that, including the “T” key that was sticking. I also got the dashboard, etc, in the front of the van clean and dust-free.

Much better!!

I like to watch/listen to the news, so my pad now lives on the other passenger’s headrest. It’s nice not to have to put it away after each use.

Time to install my Roadie so that I can keep the window down in case it really does rain this afternoon.

Then, time for lunch. I have a taste for more eggs scrambled in butter with a can of cod livers on the side. Damn, it’s nice to have a freezer!!!
