Still keeping my weight down February 29th, 2012

Can’t believe I haven’t been on here in six weeks.  When Sue wrote a comment to my post, I decided it was about time for me to get my butt in gear and post something.
I’ve been pretty swamped with inspections and car chases for the last month and a half, sending me in areas that I normally don’t handle, like almost in West Virginia.

I was so far from home that I even ran into snow covered roads.

Last week Wednesday, I spent all day in DC inspecting 15 apartment buildings.  Round trip, even though it’s only 30 miles, I  drove for 5 hours.  I intended to turn this job down, but the money was just too fast and good to pass up.  I was up until 1:30 this morning, uploading reports, photos and sketches of the buildings.
LOL….thought of today:

I went to chase a car in Fairfax a few weeks ago.  The building was having a bunch of work done on the inside and I was wondering, while looking at the walls,
what caused all the damage.

I was told that the damage was from the earthquake we had back in August last year.

In other news, my room mates are moving out the middle of next month, so T-Jay and I will have the house to ourselves.  Lots of cleaning and re-arranging to be done after they leave.  It will be kind of nice for me to be able to get my dishes out of the shed and put them in my kitchen again. 🙂
I am happy to say that I’m keeping the weight I lost off without any problem, but I’m sure that staying off of grains and sugar is the reason.  I’m staying between 160 and 163 and I’m happy with that.  I feel awesome.
I’m still taking 4.5 ml of LDN nightly.  Still no return of the pre-cancerous skin, no colds, no boils, no migraines, and no painful bone spurs.
LOL…the only drawback is that I can never call in sick.

  1. Wow, Tango. I read the first testimonial in your side bar. Amazing story and recovery. I think I'll try to read one every time I visit your blog. Otherwise I'll be reading all day! lol Thanks for your advice.

  2. Sue…no I don't have MS. I had Vulvar Intraepithelial Neoplasia. A patch of skin was removed. It came back a year and a half later. This time it was removed by laser. I have had some uncomfortable side effects/issues after all that and got scared it would come back again. This is why I started taking LDN. Little did I know that a whole bunch of other issues would go away after taking it for almost a year.LDN is available by prescription, if you can get a doctor to prescribe it. Me, I get it from River Pharmacy in Canada. It's cheaper for me that way. I could get a prescription, but the doctor doesn't take insurance and it would cost me $400 for an office visit.Sue, if you look to the right of this page, you'll see all kinds of info on it.Hugs, Tango

  3. Dear Tango,I didn't know you had MS. How long have you known? What type do you have? I googled the LDN because I didn't know what it was. It sounds phenomenal. Does it really stop daily MS symptoms? When is it coming to Canada? lol I'm taking a daily needle called copaxone. I would love to get off that. It doesn't do anything for daily symptoms, but cuts relapses by 30%. It's been hard to stay with the injections without seeing any real purpose…you know what I mean? They call it preventative. I call it a pain! I'm glad you were able to lower your blood pressure without medications. Soooo smart! Why take a pill that does heaven-knows-what-else to you when a change in life style will fix it? I have been able to stop taking blood pressure pills and cholesterol pills since my stroke. It was really stupid to put me on them in the first place since I never had a problem in those areas before. The stroke was either caused by shingles on my neck or the MS. Sorry! I'm talking a blue steak here. I get a little upset if I think about it too much. lol Feel free to delete this comment. You are not alone. A lot of people have given up on mainstream medicine. Unfortunately, not enough to make them take a good look at how they are doing things. Still, you are in good company 🙂
