This shelf unit I had sitting in the back yard was just the right size for the supplies needed for “Headlight Restoration”. Yep, that’s what I’m getting into.

I started getting interested in doing this after watching a video that Art Smith of www.killerwaxx.com put out a few weeks ago. I must have watched it ten times and asked poor Art a ton of questions.

Right now I’m using my drill with attachments, but I think I’m going to invest in a small orbital buffer. I don’t see any decent light weight ones that are battery operated, so I’ll get an electric one. It will still be Van-Worthy since I will have a solar generator of some kind in the Promaster.

Since I knew that I was going to be in the sun for a while, I had to run out and buy some sunscreen. I usually do everything outside related really early in the morning so I haven’t bought sunscreen in about 10 years. The two appointments that I had yesterday took me a good four hours and I managed not to get sun burned.

I also worked on a Tundra, that belongs to one of my managers, but the photos didn’t turn out too good.

I’m enjoying this as much as detailing a car, but this takes less time, about 2 hours per car.

I was in the sun for four hours and didn’t get sunburned!! I was a happy woman!!!

Tomorrow after I get off of work, I will work on my neighbor’s Sequoia.

As you probably noticed, I’m sticking to Toyotas for now since I get a parts discount…..just in case I end up buying new headlights because I screwed up.

Yesterday afternoon I made stuffed pork loin to keep me in lunch for the week. I cut it in half length wise and spread a layer of mustard, seasoning, sweet pickles and slices of thick bacon. After I tied it all up it went in the oven at 350 degrees for two and a half hours.

Moist and delicious!!!

5 Minute Glam Nails

Nails for the week. The other set lasted for two weeks and would have lasted longer if my nails had not started to grow out at the bottom.

That’s all the news for now. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!!
