I had a very exciting morning on Saturday. I cleaned my oven. I’m embarrassed to say, that I haven’t cleaned it in years. I thought it was going to be a major, smelly affair, but things sure have changed. I sprayed it the night before and just had to wipe it clean. No scrubbing involved. 🙂 Such a nice surprise. I had a whole box of SOS pads on standby.
While I was at it I sprayed the grill parts and the oven shelves.
Then I made some sauerkraut to go with my grilled meat that I made later.
Delicious!! That white stuff is horseradish sauce. I put it on just about everything. Of course I made enough meals for the week.
This is Silly’s water fountain. I’ve had it for years and spend hours cleaning the deposits from the water that get on it. I hated it. I don’t know why I never thought of it, but I put it in the sink with some vinegar and let it sit for 30 minutes.
That did the trick. All I had to do is rinse it, put it back together and it was good to go. I’m so glad I thought of this!! Ha, again no scrubbing involved.
I bought a tool bag insert for a 5 gallon bucket and cleaned out my cabinet of small tools. I had everything in plastic containers and it was a pain to find anything. This is so much better and it’s totally van-worthy.
I’ve decided the date for buying the Promaster. It will be in October of next year. That’s when my Prius will be paid off. It should get me a few bucks when I sell it, since it will have less than 17,000 miles on it. Also the selling price on my car has gone up almost 1,000 bucks in the last month due to the shortage of used cars. The low mileage should help quite a bit.
I offered to work for my co-worker tomorrow and she was happy to when I asked her on Thursday. By Friday she had changed her mind, that she had plans for the holiday. After that, she won’t have to worry about me offering her to work holiday hours anymore. I’ll gladly take the extra money and when I say I’m going to work, I don’t change my mind a day later.
I’m working from 9 AM to 7 PM tomorrow. It’s the last day of the month, so I will do inventory before I get there. We only have around 70 cars on the ground right now, instead of 200-300. It shouldn’t take long, I just hope the weather holds up.
Friday we dropped the mask mandate at work as long as we have been vaccinated. The same goes for the customers. Of course due to HIPAA privacy regulations, we are not allowed to ask anyone of their vaccination status. We are on the “honor system”. I wonder how many people walk in everyday without masks that haven’t been vaccinated.
^^^Nails for the week.
I’m still loving my CrossWave Pet Pro vacuum/floor cleaner/rug cleaner. I use it every weekend. I love the feel and smell of my rugs after I use it, plus it gets the floors really, really clean.
Well that’s all I can think of. Wishing everyone an awesome week.
