Beautiful day today. This is what I saw when I was standing in my kitchen.
I had a craving for hash browns, sausage, and eggs. It took a while longer to make since I ran out of propane in the middle of the hash browns. No big deal though. Went outside to switch over to the other tank that was full. It is so much faster and easier since I now have that vinyl cover. No more problems with wrestling off the hard plastic cover. 🙂 ….and freezing my tush off!
I’ve been trying to make use of all this left over yarn I have. So, here is my new bathroom rug.
The rest I’ll use to make a nice runner to cover the electric wires running across the floor to power my office. Strange how there are no outlets in either of the slides……but there are lights.
After breakfast, I got together my dirty laundry, put that in the back seat. Took out the trash while the Evil Twin was warming up and went on to Woodbridge to chase a car.
All the roads were clear by the time I headed out. I kept my distance from the vehicles that STILL had snow on them.
When I got back, I stopped by Buckland Farm Market to see how they were doing and to return the egg cartons that I had saved.
All the decorations are up and Bill was busy selling Christmas trees and Sherry Lynn was busy in the kitchen baking. Oh Dana….that big guy holding the tree is the manual tree shaker 🙂
Every time I stop by, I find something new that I hadn’t seen before.
Remember these?
LOL….the receiver by itself must weigh over a pound. I’m glad I don’t have one of these hanging from my waist band instead of my Blackberry.
Here are more photos.
I bought some eggs and a loaf of bread and headed to Warrenton (Guy, that’s Virginia) to do my laundry.
Now, I’m back in my cozy home. The temperature is already down to 27 degrees outside. Time to make a cup of tea and catch up on Blog Land. 🙂
Gypsy…lol..believe me, even though we get snow every year, driving in it still scares the crap out of me.
You are such a clever person and you're always doing something practical. Love the pics of the snow but I must admit I'm glad we don't get it because driving in it would scare the crap out of me.I would so love to have that telephone.
Guy…wft??? How in the hell do they get that? It would annoy the crap out of me too.
The locals here call it Warington. It annoys the shit out of me.
Joe…thank you. What? You don't like eggs?
You are very talented. The rug looks great.I'll pass on the eggs though!
Guy….oh yeah…that's right.Nope…no G, why do you ask?
I've officially changed our Warrenton to Whorenton. Also do folks out there say Warrenton with a G like Warington?
Rose….good to see you around.Yeah….I know….I should have had oatmeal.
I love the phone, makes me want to wear something from a black and white movie.Holy crap! Thats quite a breakfast!
Donna….small world, eh? Centreville is about 14 miles from me.Oatmeal…I SHOULD have had that too, but I wanted something salty. 🙂
Dang, you had the breakfast I was wanting this morning! Well, similar anyhow. I wanted scrambled eggs with bits of ham and diced onion in them; couldn't find the ham, so we settled for our usual oatmeal, which was probably best anyhow. I have a dear Internet friend, Joanna, who lives in Centreville; I once flew out there and spent a week with her. She was talking about the snow on Facebook today.
I would, but she doesn't seem to like clothes too much. LOL…She loves to help me crochet though. You should have seen her this morning. She insisted on wanting to go outside so I let her get on the step. Didn't take but a minute for her to come back inside.
Sweet post…and I see your pussy is inspecting your handiwork…maybe you could make her a sweater, hahameow
