I can’t believe I haven’t killed these plants that I’ve taken care of since last November. So if I keep them alive all year, will the leaves turn red again in winter? I have no idea. Usually they die by January and we throw them out or give them away.
Last Thursday I went to see the doctor about my heel and bunion pain. It’s what I thought, plantar fasciitis. They gave me a shot in my heel and a prescription for anti inflammatory. It’s much better now. They want to shave off some of the bone on my bunion and probably insert a pin in the bones. My heel has to heal up first, else I won’t be able to walk after surgery. I might wait until the beginning of next year when our insurance at work changes. My deductible is $5,000 and I hate to make a huge bill. If I lower the deductible the insurance will cover more……but then again my insurance payments will go up. I just can’t win, can I?? I’ll have to think about it.
Yesterday, I took Silly to the vet for a check up and a nail trim. She has an appointment next month to have her back teeth checked and cleaned. I was told that she was in excellent health for being 13 years old. She was such a good girl and everybody loved her.
I have an appointment to get my J & J shot tomorrow afternoon at 4 PM. I was going to stop taking LDN for a couple of days, but I haven’t read anything bad about taking it while getting the vaccine. I’ll just keep on taking it. I have been taking it over 10 years. I’ll see how I feel tomorrow.
Glam nails for this week. My nails are getting longer and stronger.
Last week another mechanic at our store got Covid. So far so good up front in the sales department. We still get people that walk in without a mask. You’d think they would know by now, plus we have signs posted everywhere. I still wipe everything down and our temps are taken as soon as we walk in the door. Can’t wait for this to be over.
