Painting supplies
Yesterday’s temperatures were perfect for painting the frames of the windows and the door. I painted over the left over vine residue and unless your standing in the flower bed, you really don’t notice it.
I took these photos and sent them to the HOA. Hopefully this will be it until next spring. I’m sure they’ll find something to complain about.
While I was at it, I cleaned our parking spaces and refreshed the paint. When it rains hard, we always end up with sand in the spaces, which then covers up the lettering. I hate to come home and one of our neighbors that has four cars, parks in my space. Most of the time they can’t read the writing.
This is much better. In the past couple of weeks we have lugged three buckets of sand from our two parking spots. I don’t know where all this sand is coming from, but it’s gone for now.
Today between rain showers I did manage to wet sand some of my hood. The top half is pretty much done. Maybe next week I will be able to finish it. Wednesday she’s going to the shop for strut replacement. I had forgotten what it is like to own a used older car. I’ve only had her for two months and already she wants new shit.
I’m working all day tomorrow on Labor Day. I was going to take the day off, but changed my mind. I can use the holiday pay.
I didn’t get much else done today. My right arm and shoulder is killing me from rubbing on my car for five hours. I think I’ll take some Ibuprofen before I go to sleep so I won’t wake up sore tomorrow. That usually takes care of repetitive motion soreness for me.
