Sunday, February 21.21…the saga continued

Beautiful Sunrise This Morning

Last week I was keeping track of my phone that was supposed to arrive on Tuesday. Monday morning the tracking information told me that the phone was in Herndon, VA and instead of on its way to me, it was going to Texas. WTF?

I got back on the phone with Verizon. It seems that the cancellation went through anyway and I was back to square one.

Finally support told me that they would overnight me the phone at no charge and I would get it by 10:30 Tuesday morning. I had them ship it to me at work.

The phone arrived right on time. I was just finishing the activation when I realized that the phone didn’t have my number on it, but T-Jay’s. On the phone to Verizon again. After about an hour I finally had my phone with my number.

I’ll be back on the phone to Verizon next week. Now my bill is all screwed up.

Pork Loin Chops

I bought a pork loin and sliced it up yesterday.

I brushed them with Savoie’s Browning Sauce, covered them with some “Slap Your Mama” and sprinkled Panko’s ground pork rinds on top. Then I put them in the oven at 425 for about an hour.

So delicious and so juicy.

Looks like a heatwave coming in the middle of the week. Hopefully this is the end of snow and ice. I’m down to my last bottle of propane. I’ve got some ordered to be delivered on Wednesday. I’m pretty sure what I have will last until then. It’s just for the downstairs anyway and I can do without the extra heat for a couple of days.

5minute Glam Nails

Nails for the week.

It’s still early and I might start my taxes.

  1. I know how you feel about mix ups, I sent a Fed Ex overnight on the 16th from Orlando to Panama city Beach (Florida) and as of today (2/22) it has not arrived yet. Great looking recipe.
