It’s been a long, long week. Things are back to normal and I finally have the weekend off.
Somehow I messed up my right wrist on Thursday. Maybe it’s just old age. I am waiting on a wrist support band to come in to maybe help relieve some of the pain. Lidocaine is helping a bit, but it still feels better just to NOT move my wrist.
While I was at Lidl this morning I found this for my bunion.
I’m wearing it now to make sure it’s not too tight. I don’t want my big toe to go numb during work tomorrow. So far, so good.
I cooked a big batch of sauerkraut with bacon this morning. That will go with the meat I grilled yesterday morning.
^^^This is a 32 oz bottle. For most of my life I hated drinking plain water and avoided doing so by adding things to it to make it taste good to me. I have managed two weeks now with plain water from my Berkey filter. I’m actually enjoying it now and it doesn’t taste nasty to me anymore. Weird! Maybe I just had to get used to it.
5Minute Glam Nails for the week. The last set lasted two weeks without damage. I was very surprised. Also I found out that they are much easier to remove using nail polish remover. It’s a lot faster than running hot water over them and peeling them off.
I got the LED bulbs for behind the visor of my car. They still won’t light up. I guess I’ll have to play with the fuses. Not looking forward to that. The LED trunk light is working though.
By the time it was almost time for me to get off of work on Friday, I was soooo sick of people. That morning I had two kids standing on top of one of the tables with mom busy talking to a sales person. Later we had to stop one of her kids from from sticking a business card into the soda machine. Oh, did I mention those two kids were running through the building screaming as loud as they could? The day before I had to pick stirring straws out of the drain of the sink in the lounge area. I also had to keep getting the mop to clean up spilled coffee. The ladies in the bathroom didn’t seem to be able to hit the trash can with the towels nor flush the damn toilets. LOL…tomorrow is right around the corner and I get to do it all over again.
